That's not enough for greatness and Martinez is a 2x4 in constructing greatness. Great amateur with almost 400 fights, OK. Great pro with only 8 fights?
I don't think Salido was the easiest champ at FW at all. Iirc you had PDL, Gradovich and Vetyeka. Salido is probably the toughest, esp for one fight pro

Both are wasting their careers w/ inactivity that's why the fight in the theater which is the old Felt Forum(man that place had sone great bouts, ie: 1st Duran/Esteban bout, Duran down in round 1) is the venue that only holds I believe around 4k, maybe a little bit more...

Lomachenko, like every other fighter, has the chance to be great. However, the only thing that is great about him so far is his hype.

Define cross over star? He's not ever going to be a star of any magnitude. He's never even going to come close. A star is Mayweather Pacquiao DLH Cotto Chavez Sr SRL Mike Tyson Muhammad Ali.

Lomachenko will NEVER be that. EVER. And that isn't a bad thing.

              Straight truth.

The fight is rigondeaux - Loma . It should happen at 124 , since rigo waks at 126 and Loma waks at 135 .
                Rigo is smaller , tiny 122 .

Rigo wanted the fight at 124 , but Loma didn't want to come down 2 pounds .

Rigo also said at 126 but with rehydration clause . Loma didn't want that . So loma wants advantage over rigo, but claims that when salido beat him , salido was heavier ???

So Loma cries cause salido was heavier but wants small rigo at 126 ???

The fight to prove lomas great is vs rigondeaux; Loma only has to come down 2 pounds to make it fair .

Loma is good , but he got to fight the master , rigo , to prove he is great ...

Whom has he beaten : Russell ????
Well , salido beats Loma,,, a guy with 14 loses .....

Hit and not be hit ; can not hit what you don't see .
I really don't like Lomachenko and I want him to get the **** out of pro boxing, I can't wait to see him losing, but I don't remember when Lomachenko was crying about Salido being heavier, he took that L from Salido with no complains, I have to give him the credit for that. His fans are crying about that, yeah, but not Lomachenko. Show me an interview with Lomachenko words that would back up your claim.
He was fighting a boxer who was heavier than him with no complains so he's expecting another guy to do the same, that sounds logical

You have to be American or Latin American to be a pro boxing star.

Nobody cares about all these Russian or Ukranian "robots" in States. The language barrier don't make them entertaining for English speaking audience. Majority of GREAT boxers from Russia or Ukraine prefer to stay in amateurs because they don't get any good pro boxing offers anyway, this is a fact - nobody is interested in bums from Eurasia and it doesn't matter how good they are, it's easier to find a good boxer from your own country

So yes, Lomachenko will never be a star just like Golovkin who can't even sell 200, 000 on ppv

Its rough going with making a non-latino foreign guy a star in the US. The only guys who I think have done it, certainly recently, are Manny & Lennox. The odds are stacked against Loma doing it & I don't see that KO power that Manny & Lennox had that helped their path in Loma. People like for you to make it easy for them & nothing is easier than you just KOing mfers.

Not sure where Loma could have a better way of it really doe. Does Germany like lil guys? Obviously the Klitchko's made Germany a home away from home & I'm sure padded their bank accounts greatly via German wire transfers, but who doesn't like heavyweights. So I guess Loma is probably doing as good for himself as possible, but TR & Loma still got their work cut out for them trying to make Loma big in the US &/or a PPV star.

After Lomochenko beats a faded war torn Martinez tomorrow and win a 130lb belt, he will defend it against Salido in a rematch where Salido has been through wars as well and Arum will pay Lomochenko $850k and pay Salido $75k.

This is boxing greatness we are witnessing
