Clay Ali was a talented boxer in the ring with major issues outside the ring in that Black islam hatred religion of white people but refusing to defend his country was what made Clay flawed and a damaged individual deserving of scorn by decent Americans. Those kids who fought for America and died for their country were much bigger heroes than Clay. Clay deserves praise for boxing as a talented champ but Clay also deserves barbs for hating America when called to serve.Remember the boxer Clay but forget the damaged man.

Aside from Princess Di, I can't remember another death in my lifetime that was so widely observed. And, hers was largely about the shock, Ali's is just a genuine appreciation for the man.

War never proves anything right. Wars are young kids dying over decisions old men are making. The same type of kids die in every war the poor and lower class kids mostly. But Clay still should have enlisted as ordered.

Those kids that died for no reason, least not their country. Those that didn't die in that he'll hole came back and protested the war's purpose and credibility. Ali was brave and he did the right thing. He refused to murder oppressed people's, especially on behalf of a nation that treated people of color as second class citizens.

You will never be able to fathom the courage and moral strength he possessed. He was amazing and all of your propaganda and what drum beating do nothing to deter his legacy. Ali refused to feed the beast, he stood down the corrupt political corporate war and sided with peace, thank you Ali, R.I.P.

Clay was afraid to die in a meaningless war yet now Clay Ali is dead after suffering miserably for 35yrs and pitied and felt sorry for. Clay was no hero just a good boxer who wouldn't defend his country.
