I followed corrales and grew up watching him...im a boxing fan...his resume and talent speak for itself..all you have to do is watch him fight

the fight was 50/50 imo..until it played out in the ring.

Mickey ward was a friggin club fighter....you dont know ***** about boxing man...he lost to every decent fighter he faced outside Gatti

the way he beat corrales, at the time, undefeated ko artist was impressive and mayweather was not the favorite in this fight either.
here comes the oh so vague he outboxed him line. whatever that even means. you can twist and manipulate any fight into saying one guy outboxed the other. its basically just saying i like him better therefore he won.

resumes don't often speak for themselves. we speak for them and manipulate them how we want. for example if you look at casamayor's resume it looks like he lost a lot of big fights when in reality i had him beating corrales 3 times, castillo, and the freitas fight was very close. not a win but maybe a draw or close loss. he was def the best of that time period between floyd, corrales, castillo, casamayor, and freitas but everyone always talks about floyd because he's more popular but not more accomplished at 130-135.

Why's that, because you're masturbating over anything floyd related?

            therealpugilist:

Corrales was a monster better than the likes of Bowe even!
            Reality:

Gets dropped x3 & probably loses all 3 to Casamayor (even outweighing him on one occasion) & never beats a single elite fighter or gets a decisive heads up on anyone worth a ****
Stop pretending to be a fan of Corrales.

If this is what gives Floyd historical greatness then Casamayor must be a god!

What is your obsession with this guy? Are you upset with him because he has accomplished so much in his life while you have accomplished nothing?
