There really is no hope for Frankie. It's easy to see why GBP don't wanna give up on him though, even a half-bothered Gomez completely dominated and battered a crafty, proven top 3 guy at 140 in Herrera (even if the fight was at 146...).

Info like that is better than most threads to me. Garcia sure gets the easy fights and the easy road to world titles. He won the vacant WBC title by beating Guerrero. Garcia deserved to fight for the vacant title but Guerrero didn't. Guerrero was about a number 25 world rated guy who had recently been easily beaten by Thurman. The WBC should have picked a much better welterweight to fight Garcia for the vacant title. KOing Ortiz doesn't turn Berto into a top contender. Is Garcia's dad going to let him fight the Porter-Thurman winner? Garcia hasn't fought a real dangerous fighter since Matthysse. There are worse fighters than Berto he could fight but Berto should be an easy win for him.

Dannys been groomed in reverse, At first he was in fights that he wasn't supposed to Win ( Khan, Matthysse ) but he did now they're putting him against names that he's supposed to Ws against, until he fights the Thurman Porter winner.

Garcia needs more respeck on his name....dude fought some tough fights back to back and he would be used up if it continues....look at his last 10 opponents man....not too many people can say they have fought that many world class fighters the last 3-4 years

I Compmetly agree with you. I've been a huge Garcia fan and always supported him since I've been on this site. I've been pointing to his resume for years.


Even his last 3 fights Lamont, Paulie, Guerrero. No too many fighters have even faced that level of comp in the last year and change and he gets sh.itted on. They want him to keep winning until he fights Thurman/Porter winner

I was just saying because he beat the odds coming up now their giving him legit names that are winnable and that's cool Dannys earned his position unlike most in the sport.
