Sometimes I really thank God that Floyd won for the sake of boxing...
If Pacquiao was the winner tons of people would try to adapt his ****** and flawed style, lots of people wouldn't understand why in boxing you need defence much as offence, lots of people wouldn't give a look on Floyd's techniques and wouldn't notice how beautiful they are. Boxing would take a hard shot in the brain...
Plus, Fake as-s Jesus and his team would take it to another level and make more money.

I didn't see that one live. I came on these boards and heard Marquez fans complaining so I thought Marquez got robbed or something. I remember both my wife and myself saying that's not right BUT then I watched the fight ..... waiting to see this robbery and I didn't see one.

I haven't seen this in a while but going by memory, Marquez lost this one in the championship rounds.

Kinda like how PAC lost in the championship rounds against Floyd?

          PAC seemed to give up.

Manny has fans all over the world. So that is mistake number 1 of yours.

If you are as you say knowledgeable, you would realize that in Vegas, Floyd had the big advantage. As posted by Marquez, Floyd knows this and therefore all he needs to do is fight a very cautious fight and the judges will give him the rounds. Only rounds that were obvious were given to Manny.

and its not just Manny. This is often the case. Go check out the Maidana fight. Maidana gets little credit in the first 6 rounds of their first fight. In the second fight Floyd gets his wish and they get a ref who will be ready to deduct points against Maidana NOT Floyd.

Go check out the Castillo fight. How can the champ lose all the close rounds and Castillo is the aggressor? Only in Vegas against Floyd!

Floyd was asked to fight Castillo rematch in LA, CA, USA. Floyd said he was concerned that it would favor Castillo not Floyd. Floyd wanted it in Vegas where he is favored before they even step into the ring.

If Manny had defeated Floyd I think he would be thought of as the best of his generation. To be the 1st to beat an undefeated champion who is regarded (by the opinions that matter) as one of the top 15-20 greatest ever would be a seminal accomplishment.

There would be no win any current boxer could have that would be better.

If manny beat floyd you'd have people calling him the greatest fighter of all time

the Pac tards would have shut down the internet

they already gave him fighter of the decade in a decade he lost to a past prime erik morales, drew with marquez, and never beat JMM clearly...not even once in 4 tries

he was a media darling....he is a great fighter...one of the best of the past 50 years but he was not the fighter that the media was trying to make him out to be, which is the best of his era and the best of all time...espn and hbo tried but the ring doesnt lie.

the media would be telling you that he is the greatest fighter of all time...he was a media darling,, great fighter...just not on the level they were trying to elevate him too....similar to GGG today...no matter how hard the media tries, you legacy is built in the ring. Not press clippings or message boards.

And what if wanted to have sex with them and you could just bend them over and bone them...they'd never say no and just let you.

And what if they'd give you money afterwards and you'd never have to work.
