If he was on Speed he more than likely would have won.

There are countless Foreman interviews and documentaries of this fight. No where Foreman says that he was drugged. If anything he said that he hit Ali as hard as he could and Ali told him "is that all you got?" He got demoralized after that and admits the Ali rope a dope and that he was the dope.

If he was a smarter fighter, he might have realised Ali was using the ropes as a tactic and stopped just following him to the ropes like a zombie.
        - - Drugged = Zombie, a big DUH moment for U.

When I first saw the fight on Espn early heydays where they had George as a guest commentator, my first reaction as someone with medical training knowing George style was that he was drugged. I found out later George Plimpton who was sitting with Norm Mailer ringside screamed out about the same moment reality of the fight hit that the fight was fixed.

He said he was drugged by Sadler with foul tasting water he gave him during his normal dehydration phase Sadler always put him on before fights, completely against common sense for the average man much less a fighter in a championship bout.

He never seems to have talked to Sadler again, but Archie as part of that team eventually smoothed things over between the two such that Arch was in his corner when he KOed Moorer.

If U was a smarter poster, U wouldn't be some dead fetid stinking to high heavens clown...

Foreman may have taken the wrong tactical approach to fighting Ali and punched himself out, but I don't believe he had a low ring IQ. I believe he was enraged by Ali's antics leading up to the fight and let his emotions get the best of him. They say it's a bad idea for a fighter to get in the ring angry, because the game plan goes out the window.

            Conspiracy Theories aside,

This win was one of the single best wins in boxing history.

Wouldn’t surprise me. Foreman never should have agreed to fight in Zaire
