How would you see this fight as going? Despite Alvarez being heavier and younger, Arthur's power, chin, experience and longer arms will give him the edge, IMO, and we're assumint that the fight takes place at 168lbs to not drain Abraham.
Arthur Abraham vs. Saul Alvarez at 168lbs

First of all, what makes you think that Arthur Abraham is smaller? Abraham's been fighting at 168lbs for the last 7 years for ****'s sake.Comment

Abraham doesn't beat any top fighters at this stage, or for the last 4+ years.
A Jr middleweight vs a super middleweight seems strange though.Comment

Canelo is already fighting on about 180 lbs of bodyweight in fights agreed to be at 155 lbs. Imagine how heavy he would be at a fight agreed to be at 168 lbs. He could very well come in at 200 lbs. Abraham would be fighting a heavyweight here, but a heavyweight who is struggling against even light middleweights.Comment

^^^look at this idiot.
A fit Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, primed to fight and with all of his fluids in him, basically walks around 170lbs-175lbs.
Rather than Alvarez only sweating down only 8lbs, you envision a 5'8 Alvarez bulking up another 10lbs-15lbs, to then put his body through boiling down nearly 20 pounds.
and I'm the ****** one, lolComment

Canelo is not what i would call a top fighter. He struggled against an old shot Cotto who had done nothing praiseworthy for years, except beating an old cripple and losing to Trout. Canelo also struggled so much against Trout and Lara that many people feel it should have been a draw or that Canelo even deserved to lose. Add in the fact that Canelo was probably the easiest opponent that Mayweather had fought in many years and the fact that even Canelo himself seems insecure about which weightclass he can survive in, then he suddenly doesn't look like a top fighter anymore.
Abraham would beat him brutally.Comment
