But the rumble in the jungle was nothing like that. Ali didn't use movement to beat Foreman, he went to the ropes and let Foreman punch himself out.

He raises a good point though, Joshua doesn't have the best movement, but I think he has great composure which most up and coming HW's don't have.

In retrospect AJ has faced big tall punchers like Cornish, Martin than most of the smaller fighters Hughie has fought..
AJ also has faced more undefeated guys in his 16 than Hughie has in his 20+

But both their resume's isn't something they can boast about yet.

Breazeale is not going to show much imo.. Breazeale had to fight it out with Kassi & either man could have won that fight.. Had Monsur not bit his tongue he would have finished Breazeale too.. But when a title shot is involvedthe challenger ups his ante always & that's something that might make this fight go past 4-5 rounds..
That's a fair point about Johnson. I'd forgotten about him. Tough, tested fighter whom Joshua dispatched in brutal fashion. Good win.

I'm not impressed with Joshua's last few opponents, however. The undefeated tag is only meaningful when backed up with a solid resume, and none of those guys had one. Arthur Gjergjaj was undefeated as well, and he ****** pure donkey balls. At this stage I'm more impressed with fighters who've fought at a consistently high level and been involved in close or competitive losses than some bum beater like Whyte. Those are the guys likely to test you and give you meaningful experience.

so if Joshua beats Breazeale then he is a better boxer ? because Breazeale beat Kassi, however disputed that decision was..

I told the same in the post to Huck, that Joshua has faced big tall punchers & more undefeated guys than Hughie..
Kassi-Breazeale was a robbery, despite what boxrec says, Kassi won that fight.

Breazeale is ****, so is Charles Martin, he doesn't matter if they have/had undefeated records.

Johnson is shot to bits & turned up to the AJ fight for a payday.

It doesn't matter how many supposed big tall undefeated punchers Joshua knocks out, these opponents haven't achieved anything in the sport, they're just bums with padded records.

hughie does not have the power to compete at the top level. he will get KO'd several times in his journey to the top. Good luck to him though.

I'm Glad you could remember his last name, I call him The Cobra because I can't be bothered about remembering his last name which frankly appears like somebody randomly typed on a keyboard..

But my point is neither of the guys resume is something they can be very proud about.. Heck, Parker's resume is much better now that he defeated Takam..

Undeniably, & it applies to Rudenko too.. So it boils down to getting journeymen away & AJ has done that in a better fashion than Hughie.. I don't think anyone's resume is better than the other unless they fight someone worthwhile..

Please don't tell me 85 ur not classing hughie furys wins as the same as Joshuas wins......Joshua will rip both those apart , Tyson furys best wins before klitchcko was chisora and Joshua knock chisora within 4 rounds....it would be brutal...mark my words joshua walks right through both furys with ease

Sadly, that's what resume says mate.. Not the potential or talent but just the resume.. Though I would rate Kevin Johnson over everyone Hughie has fought but that would have been me being an AJ fan..

Talent & Skill wise, AJ is way better Hughie imo..

You don't have to tell me about how AJ vs Hughie goes, I can see Hughie crumbling like a cookie vs Tyson I'd still say its 50-50 if they fight now but I will root for my man AJ to win.., if they fight 1.5 - 2 yrs from now AJ will KO Tyson within 8-10 rounds

If ever Wlad & AJ were to fight then you & I have a bet..
