Oscar is in bad shape. Arum dropped his suit with Haymon, and is talking about making fights together, leaving Oscar as the sole Haymon enemy. HBO is slowly moving to working with Haymon also. Oscar is still trying to sue Haymon, and now he's not looking good with this lawsuit. On top of it all, Richard Schaefer is talking about returning to the game, probably under Mayweather Promotions, or with the PBC. Add in poor negotiations with K2, and I would say GBP is ****ing up at light speed!

True. But the contract is also signed by his manager, Chepo Reynoso and Rafael Mendoza was there as a witness

At the sitting of Tuesday, also it was read to the jury the written deposition of Rafael Mendoza of Mexico, star witness in the case with 55 years in the boxing business, and who was present at the time when Canelo was signed by All Star in 2008 .

Mendoza has had under his tutelage about 26 world champions. In his statement he let the court know that he was advisor to Jose "Chepo" Reynoso, the current manager of Canelo. He rejected the claim that the contract Canelo signed was only to obtain a work visa.

If dude can't read English & signed a document is that binding? I mean sure okay its f#cked up he signed something he can't read, but isn't there ways out of contracts you signed under false pretenses? I mean if thats legit what happened who f#cking knows, but it would seem like thats the defense they are using & as a cat not THAT knowledgeable about legalities like this it seems like its something that could win you some cases.

I think Oscar might be headed back to rehab for the booger sugar. This is not looking good. Yes you must need a legal interpreter but he was already acknowledging the contrAct by fighting on certain days and receiving payments. Should be ratified, Oscar can't bully his way around like this.
