Crazy that he was ever allowed to fight in the UFC or Bellator.

My guess is this is drug/PED abuse related. Still sad, that young needing a transplant and dying of heart failure. Crazy. RIP kimbo.

While steroid/PED abuse certainly could have contributed to his death, let's not act like he was the picture if health. He was very overweight, which led to high BP and diabetes. He had a number of medical issues that needed to be addressed. It should be a wake up call for us to take good care of our bodies and take our health seriously. Nonetheless, RIP Kimbo and condolences to his family and close friends. You gave us a lot of exciting fights and KOs and will be missed by fans of real fighting.

            This is a disaster.
SMH. What are these state commissions doing? How did Texas approve his fight against Dada? This makes me mad

How does a guy who is scheduled to fight 10 days before he dies of heart failure get medically approved to fight? There must have been something to flag him as unfit.

Every fight I ever saw he was ripped and jacked. He never looked overweight. But Steroids and HGH are silent killers for athletes and weekend warrior types. I have friends a shade older than Slice who have drinker guts like no tomorrow who are above ground and Slice is in the morgue.

                Anyway RIP.....
