This is tragic and also disturbing given the fact he just fought and was scheduled to fight again soon, as others point out, alarms should have been triggered and perhaps his death would have been prevented with the right precautions. But he obviously messed up his body and system real bad for himself to decline so suddenly and rapidly, scary story and most of all sad for his family.

Heart issue aside, did anyone catch the article mentioned he had a mass on his liver? He may have had liver cancer that coincided with his heart failure.

I met Kimbo one time probably 2007 give or take and I asked him what happen in his loss overseas and he stated that he smoked and such and the heart failure and liver mass suggests steroid usage so in the end I guess it went unnoticed and just all finally caught up with him. But he was a really nice guy from meeting him he is a true street legend. RIP
