It's obvious now that the fight with Dada almost killed both of them.
They were both totally gassed out midway through R1, at the time people were laughing/cringing... thinking it was a freak show but in all likelihood both were already suffering from the onset of serious cardiac issues.
That fight must have taken a heavy toll on Kimbo. Massive respect to him. 42 is way too young, RIP champ.Comment

Something that should be extremely easy to diagnose on a stress test as well. Obviously the testing they do to clear fighters isnt very involved.
If he was on diabetes and blood pressure meds and other chit they should have had more involved testing. And the way a lot of blood pressure meds like beta blockers kill your cardio performance, IDK if youd even be allowed to fight on them, so who knows if this was being treated or what was going on.
But you figure basic blood work would show he was diabetic. A lot doesnt add up as to why this guy was cleared to fight. Theres red flags all over the place.Comment

He was also scheduled to fight on July 16.... WTF is going on? How can a guy who was diabetic, with heart disease and high blood pressure and apparently need a heart transplant, just fought a few months ago and was a month away from a scheduled fight?
