Well it's just these dudes sticking up for him and saying well he had his family to take care of and his uncle had cancer. I mean I feel bad for his situation but dang dude are you suppose to stop life and making money because is getting tough? Everyone goes through family issues and close relatives dying, are you suppose to stop what you do in life to deal with it. NO you move on and keep working hard.

If his old lady was giving him crap about the fight game he is in (which brings him good money) and whatnot because of her misscarriage then he needs to reevaluate his relationship with her.

But geez just because life gets tough for you that means you have to stop what you do I life? To me that shows his lack of intestinal fortitude and his heart.

Not sure about his family situation, but quillen basically ruined his career with business decisions...
You see this all the time in boxing,, a fighter will be on a roll and make a small name for himself, but instead of staying active and increasing their profile, they sit on the sidelines waiting for some mythical big fight payday...
Ggg, Canelo, wilder, Joshua, have all stayed active and became big names..
Mikey, Ward, Quillen, etc have stayed inactive and basically killed any momentum they had built up

Agree 100%. I lost my dad and stayed on mission for the next 3 months. Was I sad? Of course, but I also had a duty to do what I do and take care of my family. Without sounding cold, Quillen didn't lose his uncle when he was 8 years old (his formative years). He's a damn grown man, slap yourself and get busy doing what you get paid to do: box.

Yeah Sharks have a uphill battle ahead of them for sure , I wouldn't go that far with Thorton but he's definitly under rated and a 1st ballot doesn't get the credit he deserves

Crosbys the man though already has 1 ring ( probably 2 aftr this series ) 2 gold medals , World Championships , Basically every Personal award you can get and got most of that aftr battling back from severe injuries. Crosby & Toews are the best of their generation

I just made a comment about who's lifes worthless.
