            • Golovkin fans.....

Gennady's hype/reputation, is based purely off this statement......

              " anyone from 154-168 "

NOTE: They have been making that statement for THREE YEARS !!!!!

We know that Gennady's hype/reputation is based purely on that statement, because he has never fought a notable opponent.....

That's why I gave up on his team. Can't take them seriously. Why come out with quotes like this time and time again? This puts a lot of heat and question mark on GGG, no doubt we would have some trying to twist this and making excuses but at the end of the day you cannot come out with stuffs like this and then pass on two fights. At GGG age it becomes more difficult.. They really need to put their finger out and get GGG a big fight next.

I understand what Ward is saying here, but it's what every knowledgeable fans knows including the knowledgeable GGG fans, it's only the ******ed GGG fanatics that wants to sweep it under the carpet and pretend as if this issue doesn't exist. And when I said ******ed fanatics I meant like 95% of them.

I think having 2-5 rd fights are not a positive for him. And the fact of the matter is that if he has been okay with people hitting him because it doesn't phase him, he is more than likely comfortable with fighting that way, and he won't be able to automatically change when he gets in the ring with people who can phase him.

As far as legitimizing through Canelo, that's a joke, because he's been saying all they want is the belt, and the belt hasn't really been legitimate since Sergio because he actually fought at the weight. If legitimizing is the case, he will not give an option below 160 and any mention of less will be a non-starter; what he really wants is the cash Canelo brings. Let Eubanks Jr be pulling this they would've been moved on, and not kissed his ass the way they have veen since the belt dropped.

Lastly, as far as Ward goes, that ship has sailed and I don't expect it to come back. Neither does team golovkin because their tune of unifying 160 has changed back to being open to 168 since he has left.
True. GGG has not had to go deep into the later rounds since he disposes of everyone so quickly. If he does have to in the future with a bigger and more skilled fighter it will be interesting to see how he makes out. I enjoy watching him and anyone with his determination in the ring. And to your point I do believe GGG wants the payday and I think it's rightly deserved. He has become a force to be reckoned with on any account. Looking forward to his next "challenge" whatever it may be. I'm pretty sure if they could actually make a deal for Ward it would be a huge moneymaker for both. Thanks for responding.
