To argue otherwise is at best a failure to understand basic words and at worse is to lie to yourself.

No, I know how the sport works. You minimise the risk while maximising the reward. That's what champions do, right?
Thanks for the vocabulary lesson! Next time, please define hypocrisy too! The GGG fans act like everyone who wants Canelo to accept the 155, or move up for better competition (i.e. Ward) want to see GGG defeated. That's not true at all! I think most of us want to see him in a mega-fight with a live fighter! Add to that, the statements by Sanchez and Loeffler only make matters worse! GGG always says he's not "business man," but when K2 says Ward @ 164, Froch or Chavez Jr. @ 168, Mayweather @ 154, but no Canelo @ 155, they prove to be "businessmen," just unsuccessful ones at the time!

He (and lil g himself) has been rolling this same bull out for going on 5 years now.

Yet, they have always wound up fighting 160 lb B levels.

It's what you do not what you say.

And truth is if they really believed the hype they are spewing the Canelo fight would have been made at 155, the Ward fight at 168, the BHop fight at 168, and the Lara fight at 160.

          3. This is boxing, not a movie. It's a reason why they said Ward at a catch weight and not the full 168. It was to protect GGG from getting hurt badly and possibly not marketable afterwards.
Whatever would happen if Ward fought GGG, a KO win for Andre would be the most unlikely result of all.

Ward is not a destructive puncher, and GGG has maybe the best chin in boxing. He's never been dropped or even wobbled in nearly 400 fights, amateur and pro, or in sparring either.

Ward doesn't have the power to hurt Golovkin, but Golovkin most certainly does have the power to hurt Ward. That's why I would make GGG a big favourite to win it.

            155 isn't a ****ing division. 154-160-168, that's what is between 154-168. No one says I'm a 155 pounder, except Canelo but it's all bs.

155 isn't a division. Ward isn't a SMW. And Lara is a bore who fights nothing but out of top ten fighters. Just because GGG can beat them doesn't mean he should fight them. No one is paying Lara millions to run from GGG for 5 rounds.

First, you don't know they turned down any weight. Both camps have said weight isn't an issue. 155 isn't a division, so you can't add it in the 154-168 statement. 154, 160, and 168 have fighters, he's saying no one from those divisions does 12 with GGG. He isn't saying he'll go to 154 to fight any of them. They've said the opposite.

And Ward turned down the 168 fight. And never wanted to fight immediately, only wanted to lock in a purse before GGG got too big.

And if you think they're worried about Lara, that's silly. They want a fighter who is ranked higher than Lara. Why go for Lara. He brings nothing.

That's where you is wrong at. He don't have to have destructive power to KO someone. Enough beating on him will give the same affect. Remember, he will be in Ward's waters, not the other way around. GGG never been wobbled, but he hasn't fought a professional fighter on Wards level yet. Ward is would box circles around him, make him miss, counter him until his mind body and soul would just give in.

Lara would be both the most well known and the most elite guy he has ever fought- and that in and of itself is sad.

When you say anyone from 154 to 168, that would mean to any logical person that a 155 catchweight is not only well within the ballpark but quite welcome.

And no, you are wrong about lil g and Ward. They have balked at a Ward fight on at least 2 different occasions, the last the most well known because of the 164 catchweight that they attempted to dictate to Ward.

Listen, I know that the only thing that is going to break the spell of you thinking lil g is Mike Tyson's baby cousin is actually seeing him in against an elite guy and getting his arse handed to him because he finally is in against someone who can handle him.

Til then feel free to enjoy your lil g fantasies.
