Overall, blacks biggest impediment is their toxic culture. Until they address that as a community, they won't advance.

Also, black teachers and nurses, etc. are not the norm in the black community. Whereas for hispanics and Asians it is. The faction of ****** toxic rap culture is the majority of African Americans. Until it's the minority blacks will stay low on the socio-economic ladder.
pro athletes, famous rappers and wealthy drug dealers are not the norm anywhere in any racial group ever, your argument does not stand up....but I see that you have an conception that you are comfortable with and it does not appear that you have much interest in refining it or challenging it with facts. If you ever change your mind, you should go check out some labor statistics to see how black people actually do support themselves and what careers in fact move them up the socioeconomic chain in significant proportions.

Fans are thugs too? wow dude, you hit your all time low with that one. People recognize and support Mayweather for his skills, not his lifestyle.

Yea tell me about it. Someone had to pave the way for Ali too. People are to sensitive and take things the wrong way all time.

          • Some of you people hate yourselves so much. Put the gun down and hug your soul. Eat some chicken noodle soup. Pick up a hobby. Just stop all the damn hate!

Actually he's 100% accurate. And I'm not white, FYI.

Ali directly insulted and disrespected blacks who fell into a certain regime especially when he joined the Nation.

Ali DID race bait. All the time. Even when he was talking to Cosell casually, he would frequently throw out race.

Ali DID duck a draft. It doesn't matter his reasoning. He ducked a draft.

Ali refused to carry his given name - a name that associated him to black heritage - calling it a "slave name".

All of those were his choice and he was free to employ them. Doesn't change the fact that Ali did increase racial tensions for the time he was on top.

Did he do a lot overseas? Yes. Did he do a lot for charity? Yes. Did he do a lot for boxing? Yes. Was he a worldwide icon? Yes.

Doesn't change the fact that Ali was a boat rocker that did more harm than good at a time when race relations were already in a problem state.

And he believed every word that came out of his mouth, which is the reason he has so much respect today.

                  No my argument stands.

Rap culture has a concerning strong grip on the black community and is strengthening the crabs-in-bucket mentality, e.g. violence.

I don't know why you keep pointing out stats of non-inner city blacks lol they're the minority. Why don't you look up the percentage blacks make up in America's jails and prisons? instead of cherrypicking anomalies that support your argument?

There's clearly a correlation between toxic rap culture and black incarceration rate but that's not tidy and convenient for your views.

If these are the only black people you know then you need to expand your world view just a little bit.

Ali was a great man. People hated him in more ways than any comments Mayweather made.

Let the man rest in peace.
                    False.

He was racist who used his talking skills and charisma to promote segregation and encouraged hostility toward whites and "infidel" blacks who did not fall for his BS.

At no point did he go into specifics and say his victory over Foreman shouldn't be glorified or ridiculing that he lost to Leon Spinks - Things that are just disrespectful and tasteless to bring up.

Why does Floyd feel like he needs do it? Because he's a scared little man. Just like Tyson says.

Totally misplaced comments that myself and many others found tasteless.
Ok so saying you don't like a guy is ok but if you go into specifics then you may aswell have gunned down his family. Oh no he just had to go into specifics, could he be more classless ?

It's not disrespectful at all. He did lose to Leon Spinks, he did fight that way against Foreman. Floyd's well in his rights to not agree with it and bring up Ali's loss's.

So now you're actually telling me that talking about his Spinks loss is "classless" and "tastless" Wow. A boxers loses are off limits now. We can't talk about them.

Ok you and many others found them tastless that's fine maybe you shouldn't be so sensitive in future.
