I read it like he was giving respect to Ali in general & for making way for the guys who came after him like Mayweather himself. For sure without Ali Floyd isn't where he's at. That **** is all sorta standard. Without Ray Robinson, Joe Louis & Gorgeous George Ali woulda never got where he's at. And idk who Ray, Joe or George were influenced by, but I'm sure there were guys ahead of them to that they probably thanked & were influenced by.
