GGG been a MW his whole career because he started being a pro at 24 , at 24 Canelo was sucking himself dry to fight at 155 which is technically still a MW. Come fight night they'll weigh the same with in a couple lbs. Canelo weighs more then GGG on the 30 day weigh ins but he's not a MW yeah that makes sense. Everything points to Canelo being a MW

No I don't think Canelo will give GGG a advantage and I Dont care he's A-side let him dictate the terms whether it's 155-159 but let's not act as if Canelo is this fragile SWW that's jumping up and going to fight with a huge weight discrepancy when that's not the case this isn't like Canelo just made Khan do this will be a fight between basically 2 men of the same size.
and thats the thing that you are not understanding.. people hate my post because i see things logically regardless. no agendas. that one idiot ran in here butt hurt saying "you're **** poster and a bad bad man for not liking ggg mr!" some people can't take common sense.

canelo is not a middleweight because he hasn't fought at 160. and he's fought just 3 times at 155 which is not 160. madiana has had similar fight night weight as ggg. do you think maidana is the same size as golovkin? NO. thats called eating a steak and just blowing up. if maidana was truly a middleweight he would have had to fight in the division for few years he would need the bone structure the middleweight opponents on his resume. canelo is not a middleweight in till he fights at 160 and grows as a middleweight fighting other 160 pounders. it's just not a weight thing, you have to fight in a division to get accustomed to it and grow. this is what gives golovkin a HUGE advantage. blowing up on fight night doesn't = middleweight.

golovkin has fought at middleweight his entire career.......canelo not even once. you get that? in that case you have welterweights thats bigger then golovkin who blow up past 165 LOL

          makes sense?
nowadays fanboys use fight night weights to separate weight divisions...
the actual weight on the scale 24hrs prior to the fight is old school, no one cares...
be prepared to watch brandon rios vs andre ward soon...

canelo is not a middleweight because he hasn't fought at 160. and he's fought just 3 times at 155 which is not 160. madiana has had similar fight night weight as ggg. do you think maidana is the same size as golovkin? If I remember correctly Canelo has fought at 155 against Angulo , Lara , Kirkland , and Cotto he hasn't fought in 2 + years at 154. This whole time he's been fighting at MW. Your seriously going to discredit GGG because he stays in relative fighting shape year round and Canelo puts David Blaine to shame with the magic of how he loses weight, probably stops eating solid food and barely drinks water 5 days out to make weight. Canelo weighs more then GGg at the 30 day weigh in

As far as Maidana he came in at what 165 and was a huge WW Canelo comes in at a reported 175 +. will he have to weigh 190 on fight night for you to aknowledge that's hes a MW

Canelo is a MW. Look at the Cotto fight, Cotto who actually isn't a MW was a dwarf compared to Canelo in that fight. and if his team didn't want him to drag up WW and SWW then maybe he could get accustomed to the division but they won't do that because that would put Canelo on a more even playing field and it's easier to build hype beating down on smaller men where their punches don't effect him as much

Golovkin has a huge advantage in skill and because he's the real deal not because he'll weigh the same as Canelo when they fight.

                  (GGG 30-day weigh in)

                  (Canelo 30-day weigh in)

Tell Canelo to lay off them 'steak dinners'.

Canelo can, and will, make 154.

                      Golovkin can't.

Angulo is typically bigger than Canelo, Trout was heavier than Canelo, Charlo is at least as big....he's a 154 fighter.
