I dont like this AIBA, this smells of corruption already, like wtf Manny already said no, now he is trying to recruit him? I wouldn't be surprised if they are offering some money under the table.

This is foul and a joke, pros shouldn't be allowed to box amateurs and is it true this is the olympics where the head gear is no longer allowed?

amir khan won olympic silver at 17, to give you an idea of the kind of competition the pros would face in the olympics.

they're not even fighting amateur rules any more, where a younger, bigger kid might havea n advantage. as far as i kno they're not wearing headgear and they're scoring on a ten point must. these kids are going to get seriously, seriously hurt.

can you imagine a top professional fighting amir khan when he was a 17 year old? 17 year old khan vs postol, garcia, crawford? that's fair to some of you?

I hope most countries protest this decision and decide not to send their Amateur fighters to Rio to compete. I'd go as so far as hoping countries threaten to completely pull out of Rio and any future Olympics if AIBA does not reverse this decision. That is the only way this goes away.

If Manny plays his cards right he might just get a wild card all the way to the medal fights.
