If Canelo actually fights at 154..

Then it's pretty damn evident he's doing it just to avoid the GGG fight. The guy hasn't fought there in 3 years and all of a sudden after he drops the title and hides from GGG there's talk of going back down to a real weight class not associated with MW....

Not surprising one bit though, now people will say, "see, he's not a middleweight" as he looks like a zombie at the weigh ins then rehydrates to weights bigger than most middleweights come in at lol..

good luck with that huge name Liam Smith in September hahaaaaaa...

Like I said 1000 times before: If Golovkin was not fighting at 160 Canelo would be at 160 right now.

TBH I think he would hide from the MW division anyway.

He hasn't even face one MW... Saunders, Jacobs, they are all MW and running away from GGG. One more MW running away from GGG wouldn't make a difference. He could just be a typical MW. But he would get destroyed by real MW's... or at least have very difficult fights.

As silly as it sounds, I don't think he can make 154 without damaging himself. I find it to be obvious that he absolutely destroys himself to even make 155.

Saul Alvarez said he wasn't a middleweight, his trainer has said that he's not a middleweight, he's had his last 4 fights at 155, yet the moment that he fight in the division where he and his camp have consistently said was his division, you want to talk of avoiding someone? gtfoh.

Gennady Golovkin has stood by, smiling, while Abel Sanchez ran his mouth about whooping every fighter 154-168, yet he's managed to not only avoid tough fighters at both 154 and 168, without any blowback. lol

Rather than fight Alvarez at 155, Golovkin is going to miss out on that fight, will likely miss out on fighting Billy Joe Saunders, and will hope against hope that Daniel Jacobs gets locked into an opponent for July 30th, so that they can trot out Jorge Sebastian Heiland and having the boxing media continue to push their "no one wants to fight Golovkin" bull****.

So, we should hate on him because he's able to make a certain weight class?? If so, why don't we just bash everyone who walks around heavier than fight weight?

Canelo Weight is the only one that matters.
