And why are you so determined for him to drop the belt? He can fulfill the mandatory obligation and then fight whoever he wants. This is getting silly.

It's just a matter of perspective. You want him to keep the belt, and yet he's faced NOBODY. I would rather him sacrifice a belt, and fight SOMEBODY. Adrien Broner has a belt! 90% of America couldn't tell you who he got it from. Adrien Broner was a 3 time title holder (135, 140, and 147) before he fought Marcos Maidana. Was America shocked when Maidana whooped his a$$? NO! Why? Because he got the 147 belt by going the distance with Paulie Malignaggi! Danny Garcia has a belt! He earned it by beating Robert Guererro in 2016! How much respect is due for that? Jacobs has a belt! Who did he defeat to get the belt? Belts are not important as they used to be! Belts meant something way back when there was still 10lb. weight classes! To be an ATG like SRL, Oscar, Hopkins, Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Cotto, you need much better opponents than Dominic Wade!
