  • GGG haters are hungry to see Ward against GGG. I saw Ward's last fight and was not impressed at all.
If he fought GGG at the time he would have lost.
Ward is not as good now as he used to be.

After seeing Ward getting tagged cleanly and marked up by Golovkin's novice sparring partner I would certainly make GGG favourite to beat him.

If they were the same size it would be an easy fight for GGG.

Ward looked average against Barrrera. He hasn't faced a challenging opponent in over 4 years and has slipped badly as a result.

GGG would probably beat him, but Ward's size advantage might give him a chance. If he fights Kovalev he is going to get brutalised.

          • Abel STFU

You're just the guy that GGG allows to be his Trainer, looking at his other fighters Abel is not a good trainer at all

More Credit goes to whoever trained him back in Kazakhstan to be honest, Abel does NOTHING!

            • Sanchez says Golovkin will be much better at 168. Yet he wouldn't let Golovkin fight Andre Ward at that weight, it had to be 164.

To me that's just a huge compliment to Ward. Sanchez doesn't think that even a better version of GGG would have a chance, not unless Ward drained himself.

its no coincidence HBO offered Ward a contract but only if he moved to 175

HBO is trying to protect GGG from that work and he was going to get that work.

its smart business to protect an investment, its his fan boys that dont want to admit he is as much protected by his team and the network as he is so called ducked

his team plays the rish/reward ratio....if they can get belts without fighting, thats fine by them..too bad it does nothing for his resume or legacy

HBO, Ring Magazine, and K2 are banking on the casual fans and Gennady Garglers to tune in, regardless if most his fights are mismatches while tabbing him as the baddest man on the planet, the most feared, without actually fighting anyone worth a damn. They really think boxing fans are ******. Many are.

K2 and HBO are doing a wonderful job because I never saw a fighter who accomplished so little be lauded as the best in their division(without fighting the best in his division) and be considered a top 3 p4per(without beating anyone elite let alone close to p4p top 10-20)

Ward will dominate him whenever they fight.

                Outstanding post !

Golovkin fans who refuse to admit that he ducked Ward are just ignorant fanboi POS to me.

                They know !

GGG is fun to watch now its time for more substance to go with the style

time is running out and we are being cheated out of seeing a possible ATG against the best in the world from 154-175

This is exactly the same situation as with Pacquiao.

The fighters know exactly what is going on and are just as responsible as the management..... in fact they are MORE responsible.

Gennady has the exact resume he wanted..... if not, he would have fought better guys..... he can hear what insiders are saying, that he has fought nobody.

Maybe, but I think that Sanchez is simply full-of-****.

Not sure if he truly believes that or not.

OH cool so BHOP sat around at MW for 13+ years waiting for smaller guys like Trinadad to come up for a mega fight? GGG still has years to go then to match the old man...
