Wonder why? Because Jacobs is a 29-year old, 6' tall, full-sized middleweight switch hitter, with pop in both hands and clear top-level boxing ability. Jacobs has been clipped before, so that's an opening, but Golovkin fighting with his face-first style, against a guy who can box, can punch, and is as athletic as Jacobs is is a recipe for Golovkin's hype to be ruined.
Jacobs? He's targeting Mora on that undercard. Good luck with all that dumbfcuk

Loeffler talks about it here: https://www.youtube.com/embed/t59u0mCCrPo

And after Ward's last fight when asked why he turned GGG down but then called him names later, Ward said this, "It's not ggg's day." Comp, entry ignored the question.
Again, where's the HBO executive? This is a link to a quote from GGG talking about a meeting! Where's the HBO people? And of course Ward had promoter issues, but he didn't have them when Roc Nation sent that offer. Only one tune-up, no interruption of the Lemieux fight, but answer was NO, unless Ward comes to 164! That's a straight DUCK! Why the **** would Ward turn down GGG and chase Kovalev? Why turn down a smaller man to fight a bigger man? It don't work that way. It's the smaller man @ 160 (GGG), turning down the bigger man @ 168 (Ward), with the hopes of fighting 2 SWW (Cotto & Canelo) and 1 WW (Mayweather). Great job K2!

Do you see the Golden State Warriors b1tch and moan when they have to play the Knicks? Some ******ed fans on his site.
If GGG had dropped the meaningless IBF trinket, citing that Wade wasn't a legitimate opponent. And fought Lara instead. He would have been applauded by the vast majority of the boxing world.

It's a damn slow chase. If he was chasing Kovalev they would have fought last year.

How's Canelo a Sww when he hasn't hit 154 in 3 years? When is the last time Ward hit 168?

Of course you don't want to hear about it being a mandatory. It was for the title he just won. And Wade wasn't a legit top ten, but it's one of few he's fought in last four years.

If Steph Curry had the chance to play the Knicks or the Cavs, he would choose the Cavs, because that's what champions do! But he didn't have the choice, GGG did. He chose to fight Wade (The Knicks). While K2 was negotiating with Haymon, shouldn't it have occurred to them that Lara would be a better opponent, one who actually wanted to fight him? Wouldn't fans understand that he gave up the IBF title to face a better opponent? Didn't fury drop the belt? Didn't Cotto drop the belt? **** a belt, fight a real fighter!

I've never understood what you and other GGG diehards get outta watching him smash bums. Unless y'all have some kinda "shirtless men posing with title belts" fetish. I still don't see how any competent fight fan hasn't seen GGG's unification quest as a complete and utter waste of time and prime years of a potentially great fighter.

Ok, where is the legit Ward contract or emails? We have them talking about it.

And they never ****ing said only if Ward came to 164.

And if they did, do you mean to tell me Ward forcing Dawson to come down 7 pounds would have been a duck if Dawson refused.

Why wouldn't he turn down Kov, because he's out there whining he is being forced to fight Kov and that GGG didn't want it. If Ward wasn't whining and trying to insult GGG, lil-g, lil-Floyd, it wouldn't be a thing.

But Ward acts like his **** don't stink.

Ward's name is on the contract with Kovalev! GGG turned down the contract! Big difference! I'm sorry, Canelo is 155, not 154, and of course that's a HUGE difference! Canelo got the belt in a CW fight @ 155, with a guy who DROPPED the belt!
