dont get me wrong, lara is a top fighter, but cotto is looking for a farewell fight, and roc nation is trying to cash out on cottos last fight with them and they need a ppv for that, lara is high risk no reward, and he is not a ppv fighter unless canelo or floyd are on the other side...

There's really only one guy who does that and it's Canelo. Maybe if Cotto were to lift the WBO title from Liam Smith, being Lara's too much risk, he'd get that final big money fight.

Tim Bradley would be the other best name opponent. Both are in the twilight of their careers and he has no issues moving up in weight and it would make for a great back and forth fan friendly fight.

sounds like a good idea, but the problem is that roc nation needs the ppv fight next, so even if marquez or garcia wont be ppv blockbusters, if they can get 300k out of that it should be enough for them, heck maybe even broner could be an option...
