      He makes some good points in the article but i don't agree with them worrying about pay. It would be just like hard sparring for these top guys. I can imagine a lot of guys coming out of the Olympics and having a pro fight not too long after.
      Too right, olympics in the pinnacle of amateur boxing and not always, but usually followed by turning pro.

      What i mean about timing is the olympics is a month or two away. They've had four years since the last olmpics and now they decide a couple months out... Just seems bizzare.

      On a footnote, i am going to olympics and have tickets to 5 sessions of boxing.. Yewww!!!

        AIBA doesn't know wtf they're doing, they're going to wind up ruining the future stars of the sport early on. If pro boxing isn't popular nobody is going to give a **** about amateur boxing.
