Not all surgery needs therapy, some only needs to rest for days after a surgery to heal. They can do self rehab that a specialist will prescribe, like rest 12 hours a day, eat healthy food, drink plenty of fluids, do this and that at home and come back to me in a month.

What is important is the surgery. Which Pac did. Do you get it bud? IS it to hard to understand?? You never went to a doctor and prescribe to you how to get better? Did you need a nurse to help you heal?? Have you never seen a relative of you had a surgery and the doctor just told him to rest for a month or 2??

I have said this before. You can follow the doctor's prescribed REHAB exercises without doing it in his office. The doctor shows you or has pictures with instructions and or refers you to a website which has the instructions. Then the patient goes home and does them there. Yes, you can also go get some help and go to a PT but even then what they do is show you a few exercises that you need to do at your home.

How do I know? I have gone thru it. Most of the hard work is done at home.


Wrong about the scuba diving. My point was that you had it wrong. Manny was not doing Olympic style swimming and making things worse for his shoulder. So once you understand that then you need to understand that what he did was helpful for his shoulder.

You said that rehab cannot be done on your own at home. Here is a guy who did even his passive and active exercises at home and shows you that you are wrong. There are other videos on the net like this. The hard work is done at home, for a lot of people. Now remember that Manny is almost never alone. So even then, he can get help and does in one manner or another.
