Blown up welterweights don't go into the ring at 170+. Canelo might not be that tall but he has a very thick frame. That said his style wont transfer well to 160 and 168. He won't be able to counter punch opponents that have the reach advantage on him.

Its kinda my point, if he were more dedicated, no way does he blow up that big. Thats to much weight for his frame.

IDK man look at Tim Bradley, his back is probably the same size as Canelos, difference is Tim stays dedicated between camps, dudes a gym rat, he may gain a lot of weight too but the difference is Tim's weight is muscle.

Nah man Tim gets chubby in between camps now, he's not as dedicated as he once was when outside the ring. Tim about 3-4 years ago, yeah. But Tim of today isn't the gym rat he used to be
