Really hoping for this fight at the end of the year. I'd like to see Wilder take on Ustinov next as well so he could get a feel for the height.

The pre-fight promotion alone would make it a classic

I'd prefer if Wilder made himself a decent contender first, then it'd be even bigger with two proven world class heavyweights. As it stands, Wilder barely cracks top 5. One good win and i'll fall for the hype

WHAT? This is one of the dumbest things I have seen on here in a while..

You say he is in the top 5 but dont deserve a Fury fight.

Too bad AP tested dirty. Would have been a quality win going into the Fury fight.

In a very top heavy division. In todays sport, a win over an extremely overrated Stiverne, whose best win is over Chris Arreola, gets you a shot at the HW champion. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it, its just not as big as it could be. If Wilder actually had an impressive win over a top opponent (Pulev would do), the fight becomes interesting. As it stands, if Fury wins, Wilder wasn't any good anyway..

Yup it would have been a great win. I wanted to see if Wilder could do it, but I guess we'll never see now. Pulev is a good second choice

The build up would be good.

The fight would be underwhelming as Fury would be levels above that Basketball player.
