I don't know who Williams is but how come Kovalev seems to get better names/fights and Adonis doesn't? I know the division isn't stacked but Kovalev still manage to get some pretty good names on his resume, Adonis on the other hand only had one or two names that you can relate to, this baffles me.
Stevenson is 37 year old, GYM has the lock on on of boxing's best markets, and Stevenson is the outright holder of the lineal championship at 175lbs. He's is position to negotiate, and his camp takes advantage of that position, unlike Main Events.Comment

You think Ward is gonna become the new Mayweather, De La Hoya or Manny or on the road to being them if he beats Kovalev? He beat a murderers row of 168lbers + Chad Dawson (who had a very solid rep at the time) & its not made him some huge star yet really. I don't think its in the cards for him. He's just not fun to watch. He's a young Bhop. He's highly skilled, but no one is gonna rush to see him fight.Comment

You add that Ward is an easy-smiling, good interview, Olympic gold medalist, who can operate in urban mainstrean audiences, with no seeming skeletons in his closet, and I don't see why not.
The most marketable fights end up in Vegas (vs Kovalev, Stevenson, Beterbiev), but otherwise you have Andre Ward rotating between fighting at Oracle Arena and Barclays Center.Comment
