Better chance Mayweather- McGregor or GGG-Canelo

Both have promoters who don't really want the fights to happen (GBP/Dana White UFC). One is different sports but is a fight where the two actually want to fight each other. Which one gets made? Both? Neither?

I think business works itself out before fear.

Mayweather/McGregor gets made before Canelo/GGG... My opinion.

TBE is a true warrior. I think he'll take the fight just because of his warrior spirit despite knowing he's inevitably going be KO'd by Conor. It takes real guys to fight a larger younger man knowing you're going to take a beating.

GGG/Canelo will almost certainly happen eventually, but I think Floyd/McGreggor is a nonstarter because of the ****** amount of money being talked about to make it happen.

It would obviously be a total mismatch with Connor having zero chance of beating Floyd in a boxing match, and everybody knows that, so where is the Floyd/Manny level revenue I've been reading about going to come from?

I read about Abel Sanchez saying Floyd would get $100 million for fighting GGG, and I thought that was crazy talk. But talking about him getting $100 million for a McGreggor "fight" is even crazier!

It comes from the guys popularity. McGregor would bring a lot of mma fans and fans from Scotland or wherever he's from and it would draw interest from people who just want to watch the spectacle. It would double what a fm vs ggg fight does I'm sure

Wherever McGreggor comes from, I don't think many of his fans, or many MMA fans in general, would be interested in paying to watch him being embarrassed by Floyd in a boxing match!

If it was some kind of hybrid rules fight, so both guys had a chance of winning, then yeah, that could be huge. But boxing, against Floyd Mayweather ... forget it!

As a spectacle, it might do ok on cable TV, but for Floyd to get $100 million, even if McGreggor fought for free, it would need millions of people shelling out $50/60+ for PPV tickets, and that's just not going to happen.

Neither gets made but GGG vs Canelo is 100 times more likely to get made than Mayweather vs McGregor. GGG vs Canelo is the fight everybody wants and it's a sure big money maker. The other fight is a circus act that few would pay to see. The fighters are from two different sports with different rules. Neither man would want to fight under the rules of the other man's sport. That would make it extremely difficult for them to win the fight and neither man wants to lose.

You don't understand pure MMA fight fans. Some are informed and understand the sport a lot thought Rousey would win a boxing match vs Floyd...let alone connor. They don't understand how boxing works and think Connor would dominate in pure boxing...it would def sell well.
