His entire career seems to have been based on losing to Victor Ortiz five years ago. It's batshit insane.
That what a good promotional company will get you. Undeserved attention.

Anybody that fights Floyd get free promotion and exposure. He should had not gotten a shot against Floyd

I think this will be a very good match up. It will be a test to see if Andre Berto is indeed back at the elite level. His victory against Ortiz was great and everything, but come on its Ortiz. Also Garcia is the only other top welterweight that he has a chance of beating. No way he will beat the likes of Thurman, Porter, Brook, or Khan.

I think all the biggest fights happening in boxing these days are primarily centered around HBO PPV's, a free primetime major network PBC show & lil guys in Japan who I gotta watch on some feed thats probably getting me big brother'd by the US government as some wanna be ISIS mfer. And they don't happen nearly enough.

And people diss me for liking MMA. I like seeing top guys fighting whatever discipline its in & last night there were 3 fights between top 12 guys ffs. Tell me the last time that happened in boxing? And if you actually can answer that tell me the last 5 times it happened. Guessing there'd be years in between those times. Meanwhile there is a MMA card next week that has 2-4 fights between top 12 guys.
lol, well maybe I shouldnt have called my fellow boxing fans suckers but I am tired of PBC in the sense that I thought it was going to save boxing. In all reality it has brought us further from having an undisputed champ. Now dont get me wrong I love free/more boxing on t.v. but im going to gladly pay to watch TC vs Postol, I cant wait for Vargas vs. Brook, and Ward vs Kovalev. I guess I am the sucker in a sense because I will pay for those but I do pay for quality. PBC does have some quality match-ups like Thurman vs Porter but lets be real, if PBC were for the true fan, we'd be watching Thurman vs Garcia for a unified champ, you know as well as I do after Porter vs. Thurman, neither guy is going to fight Garcia which is total BS. Also that snoozer PBC had with the Charlos would've been better if they were more active and were fighting unification's. PBC has all these fighters especially at 154 but yet that division is wide open, it makes no sense. I wish PBC would just drop the belts and make their own already like UFC than they would be forced to have the #1 fight the #2 but it seems like Haymen is a people pleaser and having all these belts helps him as a manager/advisor guarantee his fighter a title shot. I don't hate on you for liking UFC, I get why you like it because I see it too, the best fight the best thats what makes their PPV's intriguing but theyre getting political too. Like they dont want that dude Jacare near the MW champ and IDK when Tyron Woodley is ever going to get his DESERVED title shot. I understand neither are draws but they deserve it.

Say what you want about Berto whether he wins or loses fight, but he has guts and is willing to fight anyone.

Rockhold? Rockhold beat Jacare already. I believe it was pretty one sided too, but it was awhile back in Strikeforce. My assumption is he's in line & if he would've won that Romero fight recently he'd have gotten a shot more than likely.

And cmon man with this PBC has to "save boxing" in 14 months stuff. Boxing is a huge clusterf#ck that no one is changing in 14 months. If Mark Cuban, that FB nerd & Bill Gates got together & tried to revolutionize boxing with the best minds boxing has it'd take more than 14 months.

But again NO ONE in boxing is making a good effort for boxing on a regular basis. Thats my problem with EVERYONE in the sport putting on fights. Thats why I'm craving the end of this powerful promoter era & the main thing I hope Haymon has brought is the realization fighters don't need promoters at a certain level or arguably at all. Devin Haney seems to be freelancing all parties currently & from all I'm hearing them say they have lil to no intention of signing with a promoter.
