Right up Garcia's alley. Although he probably explore the Ortiz option first.

The best way for Arum and Haymon to show that they can move past the lawsuits (now that they've been dropped), is to make Danny Garcia vs. Timothy Bradley in 2016! Make it happen! All the other Top WWs are fighting each other: Thurman vs. Porter, Brook vs. Vargas, and Spence Jr. vs. Ponomarev. Garcia has already beaten Khan and Peterson, so I say Bradley would be the best opponent! One long-shot, which I wouldn't mind seeing, is a CW (154) fight with Cotto! That would be big in NYC!!!

Berto's career is a mystery to me. How is this guy still being talked about for big fights? How did he get a fight with Floyd. Not only is he not even in the top 10 at welterweight, I don't know if he's ever even beaten someone in the top 10 at welterweight. His entire career seems to have been based on losing to Victor Ortiz five years ago. It's batshit insane.

Seriously, how on earth is Berto a good fight for Garcia?

                Because he beat Ortiz?

The only reason why I could see berto getting this fight is because he's hot right now due to his ko of ortiz. But lets be honest this fight won't be competitive because berto is nothing more than a high priced gate keeper at this stage of his career. The only way he'll ever be a world champion is if he stumbles in to a situation like burns did the other day and that won't happen because the ww division is too stacked right now.

This fight would be right in line with Garcia's opponents recently. Talking about a guy who hasn't had a challenge since Matthysse.

And don't give me Peterson. That fight was supposed to be easy for him.

                      common sense

If Khan can get a shot at Canelo.........then Berto should get a shot at Garcia. Actually in my opinion this would be Danny's biggest challenge and most skilled fighter he has faced. I say 50/50 fight !
