It's gotta be Floyd, surely? Marciano has some big names (Moore, Walcott and Charles) but he wasn't particularly skilled and he didn't fight any great fighter in his prime. Having said that, winning the heavyweight title was a huge deal back then and historically that helps him.

Still, for my money, it's Mayweather.

      Try harder.

None of those come close to the Marciano KNOCKING OUT the likes of Joe Louis, Ezzard Charles, Archie Moore, Jersie Joe Walcott, etc at Heavyweight.

Floyd got gifts against Maidana and old Oscar and got owned by Castillo. He ducked Margarito and Paul Williams.

Rocky left no doubt and ducked no one!
Your joking right, first Hagler is at 160. Other than Ray Leanord and Ray Robinson Floyd beats everyone on that list

Moore was 38, Charles lost 3 out of his last 5, Walcott 38 losing 2 out of his last 4, Louis came out of Retirement and was 37

I'm not Floyd fan but all the Heavys from back in the day would be Cruiserweights and if Soviet Union Countries allowed Pro Fighting than I bet there wouldn't be as much American HW champs

Hearns would have knocked Floyd's brains into the 3rd row, Whitaker would have made him look like he was chuvalo, and Floyd blatantly ducked Margarito and Williams, you're obviously a Floyd worshipping fanboy.

Oscar also lost 2 of his last 4 and was KTFO prior to facing Floyd, Manny was 6 years past prime, had one arm, and lost 2 of his last 5, and Floyd still had to take banned IVs LMFAO!!!!!

No way to spin this buddy, Rocky's resume is much better than Fraud's resume, and Rocky never ducked anyone unlike Fraud!

All you need to do is watch how they fought. Who cheated by clinching as part of his game instead of doing so only when hurt? Who would hold when attacked? Who would push the head after missing? Who would run and jump side to side instead of fighting? Who cheats in and out of the ring? IV, vanpire facials, urine test cheating?

Mayweather, of course. Much better wins.

Sadiqkingofko: Floyd could beat almost everybody from 130-147, Marciano would lost to Sonny Liston, Muhammed Ali, Joe Fraizer, George Foreman, Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Rid**** Bowe, Lennox Lewis, Wladimr & Vitali, and probably to Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder, Luis Ortiz, and David Hayee

How many 15 rounders did Froid fight?

Marciano fought 7 and only 1 went the distance!

At least Marciano never lost to the likes of Castillo.

Floyd is 46-3, he clearly lost to Castillo, Maidana, and Oscar.

There is literally no question at all that Floyd Mayweather is greater than Rocky Marciano. That was true well before 49-0 as well.

                    • Rocky Marciano will be remembered as greater no doubt legacy wise.
