Suppose Povetkin was poisoned, he drank from the wrong cup? The flagon with the dragon? Somebody is coming up dirty in Russia all the time lately. Fury packed his own brew with good results, he smelled a rat.

Ustinov would probably be the best opponent from what we've heard for potential Wilder fights. But I don't want it to happen because I want to see what Ortiz can do against Ustinov. So I guess I'm hoping for Wilder to pick Stiverne? I could see this happening though if Wilder's team determines he's the one they want. Ustinov will definitely drop a title eliminator for a title shot, especially when it may be against an easier opponent. I don't think he wants to fight Ortiz either, he was basically MIA at one point when the WBA was looking for him and it's taking forever to get the fight done with Ortiz.

I'm surprised we haven't heard about Malik Scott as a potential Wilder opponent. He's top 10 for WBC, him and Wilder are buddies and he's coming off his biggest win against Tony Thompson. Besides, Wilder still has to repay him for taking that dive in Puerto Rico, just kidding, I think.

Well Ustinov would be an improvement over Arreola or any other BUM Wilder would fight. I would be fine with that

Ustinov would have a better chance against Wilder than he would against Ortiz. Ortiz would knock both Wilder and Ustinov out !!!!!!

The only bum is your short attention span brain, Arreola has only lost 3 times in his last 15 fights since fighting klitschko. He was also undefeated prior to fighting klitschko..

The clean or the dirty version?? He'd have to pass a drug test to prove he's still not a cheater....and If Wilder beat him we all know you nerds will claim that Ortiz was a "bum"

This is nothing more than a ploy by Wilder's team to try to convince a skeptical public that Wilder is actually considering an opponent other than the glass-jawed Chris Arreola.

Ustinov's team will never get that proposal. Nor will Bermane Stiverne's team hear another word from Wilder's team. Wilder's team has already decided that he will be facing Arreola and they are trying to give some legitimacy to the decision.
