      Good for Burns. He'll get some bum fights in Scotland and get some money in the bank. He's a nice guy so hopefully this will help with his money issues.

              Gotta give his promoters credit. Burns had done nothing to earn a title fight at home vs this Italian cupcake but his promoters have paid to put the limited fighter in hometown "title fights" time and time again against beatable opponents. Only Sauerland does it better in boxing. He may not be a legit "three-time world champion" but his promoter certainly is a champ

                    Scots were a bit cheeky to boo Hearn - surely?

                    He has definitely looked out for Burns. Burns put it on the line against Figueroa and Hearn paid him with a home world title tilt against a guy who turned out to be dead average.

                      LOL How was this for a Championship. The WBA is a joke.
                      I have no idea how Di Rocco was ranked #1 and there was several fighters ranked ahead of Burns. How did they not get a shot?
                      Well, I guess the answer to that is obvious.
