Is that so complicated? I'm not enraged but you're right that all the posts from Wilder's fans here are illogical. Their arguments keep getting exposed so they just keep going in circles back to the old ones again. You'll probably go back to "but then how come some of his tests were clean if he didn't take it this year?" now that this argument is addressed, even though that's been explained many times too. Even this argument about "why'd he take anything illegal at all?" has been addressed. As long as a substance is legal, athletes can take it, just like creatine. And this substance was legal in unlimited amounts up until last December, and was legal up to 1 microgram through late March this year to allow for residues from using it last year while it was legal to show up without fighters testing positive.
It's not complicated but you're thinking with your heart, your support for Wilder, not your brain otherwise you'd have realized that already.
And yes Wilder/Wilder's team canceled the fight. The WBC said it was postponed pending investigation, but Wilder's team was so eager to duck, they wanted to overrule the WBC right away so they called reporters to tell them the fight was OFF completely. The WBC postponed it - they wanted it canceled, and said it was canceled.
This, by the way, has also already been explained. I pulled the article up yesterday from ESPN where it said the WBC only postponed the fight. It was Wilder's team, I forget who exactly but it might have been DiBella, who kept pushing that no, the fight is OFF. They wanted out it's obvious.
That's great then. The WBC will have their little investigation and Povetkin can still enforce his mandatory position. It seems to be the thing these days whenever a ducker is involved. Enforcing your WBC mandatory rights (See: GGG, except Wilder isn't Canelo and he relies on a sanctioning body for Heavyweight status like everyone else).

The only time he wasn't a bum was September of 2009 when he was undefeated and ranked 1 by the WBC. But Vitali, a real champ won easily. Who's Wilder going to fight after Arreola, you ? Wouldn't surprise me at all

They postponed our fight for a semi-legal supplement comparable to caffeine in soda and aren't even ruling that his levels were above the limit yet, and I acted like it was cancelled for steroids and pulled out.
Plz sir? For a coward like me?"
Knowing him he'll offer to blow them with tears streaming from his eyesLast edited by ////; 05-28-2016, 05:37 PM.

His B sample was positive as well. One of 2 things will happen. Either he keeps his mandatory or he gets suspended & loses ranking. If he remains mandatory then Wilder will have to fight him. At the end of the day Wilder was overseas making his final preparations for Povetkin & then he got the news of the failed drug test. He went home & I don't blame him. As much as I wanted to see Wilder get his ass kicked by Sasha I can't fault him for any of this mess. All Povetkin had to do was pass his drug tests & the fight was on. Wilder lost out on a career high payday so I just can't understand the backlash. I get it posters here don't like him but it is irrelevant because their man failed the test not Wilder. I never liked Wilder but I think I will cheer for him now & I hope he crushes Povetkin if they do fight in the future just so I can watch the Wilder haters fall off the Povetkin wagon just like they did th Klitschko wagon. I'm sure those Klit flags will be flying high again if he beats Fury. There would be mass suicide here if Klitschko, Povetkin & GGG were all to lose...
