People don't understand that excessive clinching is illegal. It's a good tactic to use once in a while, but when you're clinching way too often, you're just cheating at that point.

Crawford/Spence/GGG(and others of course) all seems really good and may very well be. But when have they fought someone like themselves? Someone actually thought to be in the same talent level? Crawford is the closet in that he fought Gamboa but that was a LWW cutting weight fighting a FW blown up.

It'd just be great to see the fights which in this case, we are.
Its a changing of the guard and a lot of the fighters dont have great resumes

ironically, the ones that do, dont get much respect on this site, magazines, message boards, youtube etc.

Tim Bradley, Danny Garcia, Amir Khan have far better resumes similar talent level than GGG/Crawford/spence but since the media pumps them up, people ASSUME they have elite talent with out seeing them tested vs elite talent

honestly I dont see how GGG could be considered top 3 p4p yet Bradley and Garcia are not....you are not going to be dominant fighting good competition on a regular basis and GGG does not...also Bud has been just as dominant as GGG but he isnt as hyped and nor does anyone call him ducked or feared. We all know, no one at 135-140 were jumping through hoops to fight Bud.

We dont have to make excuses for his competition because everyone is realistic about the level he fights. Just decent not great comp and no crazy hype like GGG or ATG comparisons or top 3 p4p ratings without p4p type competiton.

TB, DG, AK have all been in with and defeated elite fighters and beat contenders in a second division yet none of them are p4p lists or get any hype

P4p isn't who has the best resume! It's a subjective hypothesis of who would be the ten best fighters h2h in boxing today if they were all the same size essentially.

Golovkin would be one of them. Garcia wouldn't. Arthur Abraham has a better resume than Golovkin do you want me to consider him for 'the list' over Golovkin?

imo Garcia has had to deal with a wider variety of styles and has fought overall better competition. he has shown he can come from behind and win, box a puncher, punch a boxer, he as won a variety of ways and has had too because he has faced overall better guys

IMO Garcia is top ten pound for pound because he knows how to find a way to win and he has a good resume....different strokes different folks

Garcia looked like a beast too when he was fighting guys never was competition

look at who GGG last 10 opponents were then look at who danny is fighing back to back....he is fighting a good mix of prime elites, and former champions.....Guerrero, Malignaggi, Lamont Peterson, amir khan, Herrera, Matthysse, kendall holt, nate campbell, Morales (2x)...10/11 of his last 11 opponents were either former champions or top contenders.

He simply fights better competition, more varied styles and the guy is younger with more wins over champions

if GGG was fighting top contenders, and former champions as often, he wouldnt be blowing through guys but since he isnt, we have to hear the they ducking excuse all the time until he starts fighting better comp

                Postol is no Vernon Forrest.

He just looked great against a clueless AND injured Matthysse.

Not his fault, but still a little less great victory than it looked like when it happened.

Bud WILL catch up to him...

LOL at these people comparing GG's resume with others as if those others were ducked like diseases themselves.

Who ducked Danny Garcia, for example? Everybody wants him. Brook, Thurman, Broner, Maidana, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Vargas, Bradley, everybody. Khan, Herrera, Matthysse want their rematches. Even shot-to-pieces Morales wanted his trilogy.

See how easy it is for other fighters to have shiny resumes? Man, come on, this is not rocket science. Your pure hate will show if you disregard such basic facts.

Yeah that is true but that is what separate good fighters from GREAT fighters, height difference is nothing new in boxing. I guess we will find out just how good Crawford is!
