I was hoping Wilder would defend his title against a top 5 world rated heavyweight or a least a top 10 guy. I was expecting him to fight another cherry pick and he did. Big surprise. Arreola is a fat mediocre washed up fighter who was OK a few years ago but not today. He has almost no chance to win. Wilder has been a terrible excuse for a champion so far.

I don't blame Wilder for this Povetkin situation, but he should be fighting somebody better than Arreola, who looks completely finished and has lost his last two fights.

Did I say I would approve of Thurman vs Mosley? That fight would be a complete joke but it would be the WBA's fault, not Thurman's.

Calm down, this fight isn't official and seems like an intentional leak to see how the fight is received. To see folks go "at least give us Gerald Washington" has me leaning towards that option now. Andy Ruiz just fought and he'll pretend he'd need a full 10 week training camp. This situation would've been the same even after Pedvetkin got knocked out.
