If he did genuinely have a testosterone problem, it's vital that he gets the synthetic testosterone. Otherwise his balls still wouldn't work, and he'd have no muscle. You really don't want a lot of extra testosterone when you're fighting. More testosterone = better muscle pumps which would make your arms ache after a couple of rounds. His opponents should have been warned before the fight and given the option to not fight him.

If it was a lie, he was probably on a hell of a lot more drugs than they let on.
