Before the Lara fight Canelo realized that he cannot make 154 anymore. Now normally what does a fighter do when he cannot make the weight anymore? He moves up in division specially when he is young and motivated.
But Canelo literally created his own canelaweight division because there is Golovkin at 160.

I've been saying this for a while. The real reason Canelo doesn't want to move up is because the monster GGG is at 160. This guy is so scared he's hiding in his own fantasy weight class.

Yes, Jermell struggled with J-rock until the stoppage and Jermall had a competitive fight with Trout. But then again, Canelo had a competitive fight with Trout as well, what suddenly makes him in another league than those guys? I mean don't get me wrong, I'd favor Canelo, but not by a huge amount. Those guys give Canelo a tough fight, win or lose.

Ronnie Shields and Jermall Charlo should forget about Canelo & GGG, they have J-Rock problems. Back when they were picking Wilky Campfort, J-Rock was willing to come to Houston for them. They've put off J-Rock looooong enough.
