Once again I respect your break down, and this is the type of boxing talk I prefer. Answer the first bolded part, Lara was moving because he was trying to steal rounds, and Canelo has serious body work and he was trying to stay away from that.Lara is a master boxer in that he can get counter punch and slip incoming. But he is not at Floyd's level - 1 or 2 steps below. Why did he get on his bike against Canelo? Because when Canelo did catch him it frickin hurt. Why did he stand his ground against Vanes, because vanes has got little power.
Now ask yourself why Vanes kept coming forward? Sure he has heart but could it also be because Lara has little pop?
Now put all that together >>
Golovkin has more sustained power than Canelo
Golovkin is better at cutting off the ring than Canelo
GGG has 2 or 3 times more power than Vanes. If Canelo was hurting Lara what will Golovkin be doing?
If Lara's pop couldn't deter Vanes how in the hell is he going to deter Golovkin? You think Lara has more pop than Curtis Stevens or Lemieux?
So this is my question who on lil g resumes has the skills that Lara has? Who has lil g fought that could prepare him for a master boxer like that? Lara has fought much better competition in a fight like this that actually matters. Experience is a great assett.
Vanes had no choice but to come forward if he had ANY shot of winning. He had a zero point zero shot of outboxing Lara on the outside.
I'm not sure how good lil g is at cutting off the ring against a top boxer that's what makes this fight interesting.
Lara pop could offset lil g's rhythm and throw his game off. Boxing is a mental sport. Lil g has been knocking people out left and right, and beating them super easy. Floyd's shot didn't really hurt people but it through you off rythm. Floyd is not known for power at all. Lara has enough power to keep lil g at bay I promise you that.
Lara doesn't have to have more pop than Lemieux or Stevens he is 10 times the boxer they are, so he can hit lil g with more shots and is much, much more athletic. Floyd doesn't have the pop of a Cotto, or Margarito but he did MUCH better against Pacquiao then they both did.
Lara has the skills to beat lil g in a 12 round decision believe that. If they fought I'm putting money on Lara.Comment

Shoot, that diva ain't fighting GGG, he's looking to have another 147 guy move up to diva weight because he don't phuck around!!!!!So has their been opponents that have been made official for both fighters Abel Sanchez? No
Fact is GGG is supposed to return in September so is Canelo. It's May....a fight of this magnitude doesn't get made in 15 days and since y'all wanted that belt so much Canelo and Golden Boy said okay here you go. Instead of figuring out some way to keep it (which I'm sure they would have figured a way) they said forgets his damn belt and let's have more time to go through all the details.
After this court case gets resolved hopefully something gets finalized by the end of June. Till then theirs no reason to throw shade unless either fighter agrees to fight someone else.
Stick to being a trainer instead of taking shots at Andre Ward and Canelo everytime a microphone is in your face.

Canelo isn't going to fight Golovkin. He never was, what are you talking about?Tha fack you talking about camp out at 160lb you douche. That's the weight! That's the weight Canelo held the belt at!
No no no no no. Far better to drain down to 155 when you weigh the same as a light heavy, not fight 154's because you're too big, not fight 160's because you're too small, instead fight welterweights. Yeah, that makes far more sense.
If anyone is camping anywhere, it's Canelo at 155 you tool.Comment

Lara's willing to fight him, didn't fight him.
Degale's willing to fight him, didn't fight him.
Jacob's is willing to fight him, didn't fight him.
Ward's willing to fight him, didn't fight him.
But we got Dominic Wade though, Curtis Stevens.Comment

No one answered my question and no news out of Miami on the trial!I posted this in another thread!
The trial opened on Monday! Alvarez is in a Miami courtroom this week with his promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, who’s arguing that he didn’t steal Alvarez from a smaller promoter years ago.
Felix “Tuto” Zabala Jr. and his company, All-Star Boxing, seek punitive damages, contending that All-Star Boxing signed a four-year deal with Alvarez in 2008 and that De La Hoya's Golden Boy Promotions swiped Alvarez the next year.
ASB contend that they signed Canelo to a four-year exclusive promotional agreement around September 2008, and are seeking millions of dollars in compensatory and punitive damages.
I wonder how much the current trail has to do with the negotiations? If Golden Boys loses the case or a monetary settlement is made to ABS a block buster PPV event could be included in the damages? Any Lawyers on this site?Comment
