Dude, you don't score fights on punches landed alone. This ain't the amateurs. There are far more factors involved when scoring rounds which is why a 9-minute edited highlight reel biased toward your fighter is meaningless. I'll try and explain.

Fighter A lands 25 punches, mostly jabs in a round. All punches are scrappy, through-the-guard deflected affairs that have little or no impact on fighter B.

Fighter B controls distance, tempo, commands the ring, and lands only 5 punches, however all 5 are clean punches and connect well, with 3/5 power punches not jabs.

    Fighter B wins the round.

Now, I wouldn't expect you to know this, because YDKSAB, but it might be wise if you wound your neck in a little, as you are making yourself look like a twat.

Also, some of the punches you claim for Pacquiao are not even legitimate scoring punches. One hits Floyd in the damn elbow FFS.

Floyd won the fight 9-3 and didn't even break a sweat.

But, in slow motion...what Spain thought..... Nacho.... Etc etc. he spams like crazy.

This is a 9 minute video yes. All punch connects. Removed only the running hugging parts, the thorough 3 minute of every round detailed version are on the previous page to (look it up if you'd like). This video is for those who only have a short time span to watch a clip. But it's all there, all the punches landed documented for your pleasure.

Yes it was amateur scoring, but what you fail to realize, what was done to the video is to prove a point that even in amateur style scoring Pac still would have won it. Where in a solid blow is equal to a pitter patter shots. While in pro fights the solid blows have more weight in scoring a fight.

That said, as everyone knows. Pac landed the heavier telling blows the whole night. That video scored it as if a pitter patter shots is the same as the heavier blows just to point out a strong point.

That even if you count Floyd's pitter patter weak jabs, Pac was still able to outpoint him with a combination of clean effective punches not just the weak punches mind you, like what was majority scored for floyd. Mostly weak pitter patter jabs.

If all punches were thrown by both combatants were added wether it was strong or weak, the result still shows Pac still won it even in that way. The amateur scoring way.

What if the scoring was different in that video and scored it the pro way? Where in pac's solid punches were scored with more weight compared to weak pitter patters done mostly by floyd. Then that video will only prove even more that Pac won it by a landslide.

      # that video scored weak punches equal to hard punches and Pac still won the tally.

      # if that video gave importance to hard punches that score will be even more pronounced lopsidedly for Pac

      Video don't lie

      "Why Floyd lost"

Oh by the way, by definition, ring generalship is the boxer who commands the center of the ring.

Who was the one commanding the center of the ring?

Pac was, he controlled the center and backed Floyd to the ropes over and over when he wanted to for 12 rounds. - it's elementary - thus Floyd's father was heard on video saying your fighting scared son! his son can't even be aggressive enough to stand his ground in the center of the ring.

You keep harping the word 'controlling' distance and tempo.

That word is only effective if your opponent is not connecting at you, thus you can say I was able to control him.

The thing is this is boxing it is simple. If you connect more than your opponent by controlling using your ring smarts then you did win, but if you were trying to control him and he still beat you by landing more than you could ever do. It means your ring smarts wasn't that effective at all, since he was able to connect more than you, and that your defense had too many holes during the bout.

Ring generalship, controlling the tempo, controlling the distance, defense are only effective if you are connecting more than your opponent. Which obviously Floyd did not as video evidences proves Pac Connected more through out the 12 round bout.

      Case closed.

I thought about creating a thread about guys like him. Broken record types, clowns that can't accept it is over.

Over a year has passed, and he shows no signs of improvement. I don't like Floyd, **** Floyd and his TBE crap, but he beat PAC. Canelo was easy work for Floyd.

My 74 year old uncle said "Floyd is the best pure boxer I ever seen, but he runs like an ostrich, and I don't like it. But, yeah, sure, he boxes beautifully, for a guy who runs like an Ostrich!"

No, they are not only effective if you land more, they are valid elements of scoring a round, regardless of how many punches are thrown/landed.

You don't get it, do you?

Ok, we'll do it your way- we'll only look at punches landed. What are the official Compubox numbers again??? Oh no, wait, it's all a conspiracy.

In your 9 minute video I notice there are some key Mayweather punches missing, including the one later in the fight that sent Pac reeling into the corner. I'm starting to seriously wonder now if you have even seen the whole fight, as it seems like this highlight reel is your entire knowledge of the bout.

Your boy lost, everyone saw it but you.
