    Yes, it does have a greater emphasis on power. In a professional fight, whoever hurts his opponent more is likely to win the round. This is also why theres a big emphasis on defense in the pros. To protect yourself from the power.

      That's also why you will see a lot of guys in the pros try to load up on one punch all the time and that can sometimes create a low action fight.
