Regardless to all that doe, whats an interesting GGG fight that can be made next? I say Lara is probably the biggest fight that holds much interest that could get made. Eubank, whos still more of a prospect than contender in my eyes, being #2 probably. Canelo don't want none. BJS gots a trillion dollars. Jacobs wants GGG.....just in a few more fights lol. Cotto could step up, but we all know he won't. Who's GGG to fight? Rubio II?

Good post, and the bold infuriates me a little bit......

"what, Ward wanted 1 tuneup?..... that is INSANE, who would agree to such madness?".

" I always work 2-3 fights ahead for Gennady "
    ~Tom Loeffler

But I suppose we are not allowed to discuss that subject anymore, I guess that is "past history" now?

    SMH

And yet, that fight could be next.

Jacobs isn't as big as GGG so if he's moving up might as well fight the best option. Cotto would be bigger then GGG, but does anyone think Cotto has any interest in a no win situation himself, if he beats Lara who the f#ck is Lara & if he loses he loses.

Lara & GGG are both guys, most guys that should be fighting them, if boxing was purely a sport, woulda fought by now cuz they'd have been forced to. But with how boxing operates they are both guys who's not worth the risk thus are avoided. Makes all the sense in the world for this two to fight.
Maybe you misunderstood what i'm saying. GGG is the second best option. A Canelo rematch would be the best option! However, Jacobs vs. Lara at the Barclay's would be much bigger than Lara vs. Martyrosian! Lara vs. J-Rock (which means J-Rock already beat Charlo) would be bigger than Lara vs. Trout. I'm just saying, Lara does have options.

I don't think Canelo would fight Lara again. I definitely don't think Oscar would okay that.

For sure there are options for all parties, but of the reasonable makeable fights I can't see a better choice for either guy. I can already here Lampley saying "Max, what happens when two guys...no one wants to fight...fight each other".

Lara needs to be willing to take a small enough purse to make it work.

Shut your lying ass up. Show me some proof that LARA said he wants $3- 6 mil to fight lil g? Instead of wanting to see this fight you are claiming Lara is pricing himself out which says it all.

But show me where Lara said he needs or wants $3- 6 mil to fight lil g? If you can't be quiet

I like this fight but later this year, GGG will want one more fight before the end of the year. Canelo or Saunders first. Lara will test GGG.
