Was the Willie Monroe Jr fight interesting?
GGG-Lara will look a lot like that fight
I like watching GGG knock the dog **** out of his opponents, so I hope Lara gets what he's asking for.
The aftermath of all the dummies picking Lara to "school" GGG crying about GGG picking on little fighters will be the cherry on top

Lara isn't Willie Monroe. Why do fans lump one fighter in with another? Lara is proven, Willie Monroe isnt

There really is no reason to go back and forth, I get it, you don't like Lara. Funny thing is though is that for a fighter that's talked about being ducked all the time and nobody will fight him you have a fighter like Lara who would be the best name on his resume and wants to actually fight him. Unfortunately you have people like you who call themselves fans of the sport don't want to see someone they like fight and put a good name on theor resume. You must be real pleased with the mandatory nobody has ever heard of route

Golovkin-Lara, if Golovkin-Lemieux was deemed PPV worthy by HBO, is also a PPV if HBO wants it. Price for Lara likely starts at $1m, and the negotiations happen.

Stage the fight in Texas (doubt that Golovkin, on his own, is big enough for Jerryland, but everyone wants to act like Golovkin is this boxing star, and Lara has been based in Houston, so why not)
That's the main issue, Lara has said a few times he wants big payday, $3-$6 million.

Because of the Lemiuex numbers, it's doubtful HBO would put GGG v Lara on ppv. Wouldn't sell. Therefore paying Lara that much us a losing proposition.

Lara needs to be willing to take a small enough purse to make it work.

Where did I say Lara is WM Jr?
I'm saying Lara will end up the same way WM Jr did vs GGG
Watching these guys get their ass kicked is interesting to me.
A lot of people talk **** about the GGG vs Monroe Jr fight though.

You think J-Rock or Andrade are more well known than GGG? I see those as lose lose situations for Lara. If he beats them, who are they & if he doesn't he doesn't. Jacobs isn't as big as GGG so if he's moving up might as well fight the best option. Cotto would be bigger then GGG, but does anyone think Cotto has any interest in a no win situation himself, if he beats Lara who the f#ck is Lara & if he loses he loses.

Lara & GGG are both guys, most guys that should be fighting them, if boxing was purely a sport, woulda fought by now cuz they'd have been forced to. But with how boxing operates they are both guys who's not worth the risk thus are avoided. Makes all the sense in the world for this two to fight.

I thought the Monroe fight was interesting actually. I was surprised Monroe got back into that fight a lil bit. Showed that GGG can have some problems even vs a guy with no power on the backfoot.

Regardless to all that doe, whats an interesting GGG fight that can be made next? I say Lara is probably the biggest fight that holds much interest that could get made. Eubank, whos still more of a prospect than contender in my eyes, being #2 probably. Canelo don't want none. BJS gots a trillion dollars. Jacobs wants GGG.....just in a few more fights lol. Cotto could step up, but we all know he won't. Who's GGG to fight? Rubio II?

Doesn't matter to me. I'll watch GGG KO Eubank Jr, Saunders, Lara, Jacobs, Andrade, Khurtsidze, Ward, Canelo, Lee, Quillin (I think you see where I'm going with this)

Let them talk crap. Fans do that about every matchup. Still doesn't prevent me from wanting to see the fight. I'd rather that then another guy on house arrest
