Lara really wants the fight. Outside of a Jacobs fight for GGG or ecxuses from people who claim to be fans of the sport, i see no reason why he shouldn't get the fight.

          Wow. Another Lara article again.

Nothing from the GG camp. It's like reading a story without middle and ending part. You'd wonder why you still bother to follow such a story.

They could at least ask Lara whether he has instructed his management team to negotiate the fight for him. Like, "Have you consulted with Haymon yet? What did he say?"

          Nothing. Same useless story.

How many "families" does Lara have?

Lara is saying there are no excuses but GGG fans, for some reason, continue to make them

And i dont even think Lara can win but he is the "Champion" at 154, willing to let GGG fight at 160, and is saying hell fight on any network. He called him out after his fight like so many swore he wouldnt, unless they think Golovkin means something else in Cuba, and is continuing to call him out like he has for over a year now.

This is crazy. Boxing hype and industry is finally pushing for this bout!!! Looks like it's going to happen. The fundamental circumstance being that Lara fought Alvarez in a controversial bout.

How this will play out with PBC is interesting.

I actually think Lara is doing a much better job this time around of expressing interest. He is talking DIRECTLY to reporters, not giving vague answers about maybe staying at 154, etc, and is not relying on his dip**** manager to send tweets out 15 minutes after GGG signs for another fight. He's putting it in the media, crystal clear, with no ambiguity. Sure, he should talk to Haymon (if he hasnt already), but he's been clear enough that Loeffler could certainly pick up the phone and call Al to ask "whats the $$ number needed to make this work?"
