It amazes me that Golovkin and his team refuse to even consider a fight with the one guy who actually wants to fight Golovkin -- Erlslandy Lara. Golovkin is chasing fights against fighthers who don't want to fight him and he has no problem stepping in the ring with journeymen like Dominic Wade. Yet, he refuses to look twice at Lara.

I am not saying that Lara would beat Golovkin, but I think Golovkin's team is concerned about the matchup because they are chasing windmills and are willing to fight one no-hoper after another and ignoring Lara. Alvarez doesn't want to fight Golovkin. Saunders doesn't want to fight Golovkin. Jacobs doesn't want to fight Golovkin. Lara does! What Golovkin is doing is the equivalent of a teenager chasing after all the girls he has no chance with while ignoring the one girl who is interested in him.

Nether Gomez, Canelo or De LaHoya will be directly involved with the lawsuit. I don't think Loeffler should be helping De La Hoya by placating fans.
