Canelo is already a joke in Mexico...he is very famous so a lot of people watch his fights, but there's no real money in Mexico for guys like Canelo compared to what he is making in the states....that's why he lives in San Diego and does very little press in the country.....it's all about exploiting the pocho audience("mexican"-americans) because on average, their earning power is higher, the market in america is much more profitable with the ppv model, and the pochos tend to overcompensate when it comes to anything mexican. FACT #1: You cannot negotiate a fight of that magnitude in 15 days.

And Canelo also has that lawsuit to deal with.

Now, Team Bull**** cannot force a purse-bid to get their fighter an undeserved 45%..... meaning MILLIONS more in the pot for Canelo.

That is sooooo plainly obvious.

Cotto dumped that **** for 1.1mil, and Canelo just made MUCH more than 1.1mil on that split..... let's not forget that fact.

The fact is, that comment is not accurate for 2 reasons..... according to Loeffler, the negotiation has been delayed until early June to allow Canelo time to address that lawsuit..... so, the fight could still happen, at 160.

I don't necessarily think it will happen at 160, but nothing has happened to confirm that point, as yet..... making your post premature for 2 reasons...... it could still happen, and Canelo has not lost any fans.

Also, Team Bull**** blatantly LIED to the fans on numerous occasions..... they lied regarding Ward, they lied regarding Lara..... they lied when they spent THREE YEARS stating that Gennady can beat "anyone from 154-168" and yet so far look to have killed 2 HUGE fights over the weight LMAO..... and yet, they still have all of their 97,000 fans..... so how many fans will Canelo really lose?

I just think you are making a knee-jerk reaction..... a knee-jerk reaction which could eventuate, but is unlikely..... and regardless as to how likely, most certainly has not happened as yet.
