All reason enough to serve him up on a platter to GGG and HBO for a fall fight. If Lara is willing to accept the money he's worth then why not do it...
Saunders,Jacobs,Canelo all want no part of GGG at this time and nobody cares about Zurdo Ramirez yet so fk it, fight the Cuban guy on the bicycle...
Lara apparently sold a good amount of tickets when the went to that outdoor venue in Florida (bad weather ruining the image), so don't say he sells not tickets; beyond that With Ronnie Shields training the three of them, Lara's not fighting the Charlos anyway.

You add that Lara's arguably the best guy currently at 154 and, though Haymon will gladly look for the biggest opportunity, K2/HBO aren't getting Lara for cheap. Lara made $700k to headline in the Martirosyan rematch, so the price likely starts at $750k.

He's still a solid B side for Haymon, Golovkin would turn his name into dogshit.

Would love to see it though, if only to laugh at all the people who think Lara had anything for Gennady.

probably, but that's the cost of doing business right? Billy Joe Saunders isn't going to come cheap, Daniel Jacobs is in position to truly extort K2, and the Alvarez talks are, in no fewer words, dead.

Golovkin-Lara is a far more PPV viable fight than Golovkin-Lemieux ever was, so K2 should be ready accordingly.
