In theory yes. In terms of marketability Lara has hit his ceiling. They haven't made any moves yet though.

You make good points, thats the only bad thing I see with Hayman is he has his favorites and doesn't mind cutting off the branches on their way to the top. Other promoters do the same though, Haymans favorites are just a lil more obvious.

Haymon has shown he's willing to work with anyone that's reasonable. Loeffler has said numerous times that he has a good relationship with Haymon. They just did business with GGG vs. Wade. Loeffler said it went smooth. There is no reason this fight can't get made. Lara has fought Trout, Canelo, Paul Williams, Angulo, Molina. He's never been afraid to step in the ring with anyone. I think it's up to Loeffler and K2 to get the fight made. They are clearly the A-side in this fight and the A-side chooses their opponents. Canelo choose Khan. Cotto choose Canelo. GGG chose Monroe Jr. The A-side has always chosen their opponents. Time Tom to stop waiting on phone calls and become more proactive for fights he wants.

Who are his favorites and what big fights outside PBC has he turned down for them?

It could happen. But Lara does seem to be one of Haymon's favorites considering how much he has gotten paid for bringing in absolutely no revenue, ratings, or anything.

Calm down, I am not hating on Haymon but for 1 LSC is his #1favorite, The Charlos are favored, Berto, Broner and Thurman are definitely his boys, while Porter is trying to at least sleep in the garage and Lara gets crap fights.

Porter has gotten the biggest fights. He's about to be the headline on NBC for the second time. He's headlined on Showtime twice. He wanted the Alexader fight and got it. He wanted the Paulie fight and got it. He wanted the Brook fight and got it. He wanted the Broner fight and got it. He wanted the Thurman fight and got it. How is he not considered a favorite? He wants the biggest fights and he gets them.

What fights outside of PBC has LSC, Charlo twins, Berto, Broner, Garcia, and Thurman turned down? Lara has headlined three shows. Is Guerrero a favorite? He gets big fights on national TV. Algieri isn't even signed to Haymon and he gets big fights.

It's about the fighters. The fighters that want the big fights end up getting them. If you see fighters not getting the big fights that's on them.
